OUR DINING

Welcome to Cala Laiya!

Our food and beverage philosophy are founded and inspired by the abundance surrounding us in Batangas. Driven by seasons of southern Batangas, the healthy freshness of local organic farms and the bountiful seafood of Laiya- these are the guiding principles of our restaurant

Cala Laiya has incorporated a more mindful approach in its curation of our dishes by maintaining a sustainable farm-to-table approach – ensuring a guilt-free and fulfilling experience for any of our guests.

Our very own farm can be found only a few kilometers from Cala Laiya, which is where we breed our livestock and cultivate our own fruits, herbs, and vegetables. While around the resort, you will encounter many trees and gardens that are also utilized for the purpose of growing the very ingredients and elements needed in our cuisine. We take great care in ensuring that the majority of the ingredients used to season and garnish our dishes come from our farm and resort, allowing us to assure our guests of the highest quality in produce, without harmful chemicals being used to produce them.

Our fresh tamarind is grown to add flavor to our sinigang soups and barbeque sauces, while our fresh malunggay is used in our tinola. The mangoes for our fruit shakes are grown in our own fruit garden, which is also used for our fruit platters, as well as our Filipino salsa. Our mission is to continue to expand our menu, while keeping in line with our vision of exercising the most mindful and sustainable practices in order to give back to the earth what it continues to give to us to enjoy.
